My ride starts before sunrise (coldest part of the day) so I have some cold ones coming up. I thought winter was a couple weeks away? Today was 12 F and probably felt good compared to what is to come. It has been cool (literally) to watch frost form on the side of my head in my mirror. An hour in everything is covered with white frost.

I forgot how many people stare. :D I think i need to try the popsickle trick to really make them stare. (eat one while riding)

ANyone else getting an early winter? This is my 3rd winter riding and it has never been this cold this early. THat is not a good sign.

I had a few days dip down into single digits, back in November and that’s it. Bring on those sub-zero temps. I love sub-zero temps.

Not that long ago, it was completely normal to have a full-on winter at the end of October. Now it doesn't start till mid November and people still call it early. I just don't get it...it's LATE, not early!

It snowed and the snow stayed already, here in western WA. Usually, snow doesn't happen at sea level around here until January. Ski resorts opened before Thanksgiving. I'd say winter is a bit early! Brr!!!
