Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I recently purchased Spezzotto & Colner frames from Europe. I found a little information about Colner and it's ralationship to the Cologno brand but very little on Spezzotto frame other than it is Italian.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Posted the first set of pics while I was waiting six weeks for it to get here from Europe. Still looking for info on a Spezzotto frame I found in Austria, 80's steel frame that had never been built.
I find the Columbus bird logo mixed with the builders name on the fork very interesting.
I Have it built up now, found a vintage GIPIEMME NOS groupo
from a guy in Liechtenstein, Campy wheelset so she is all Italian.
BB has SA cut into the shell, Antonio Spezzotto is the builders name.
Any info appreciated.

OK, from what I see on this 7 year old post not to many members seems to know much of anything about vintage Spezotto frames? So let me ask this, can anyone thats ever owned or seen a mid-high level Spezzotto frame compare it to lets say....a Colnago? or any other mid-high end frame along those lines?
