Bicycle Mechanics - Rear Rack with Disc Brakes?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I've just purchased a new bicycle with mechanical disc brakes on both front and rear. I had planned on mounting a rear rack on the bicycle but the rear brake caliper blocks the mounting location on the left side. Has anyone found an acceptable work-around to this? Thanks in advance.
I just read a blip in "Dirt Rag" magazine regarding a company that makes racks for non-standard stuff such as disc and F/S applications.
Anywho, the company name is Old Man Mountain. Their web site is as follows:

Good luck!

Check out Topeak's Quick Release Beam Rack w/ accompanying trunk. I've been using one for 3 years for commuting and touring. Pretty sure Performance sells them if your LBS doesn't.
