Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Should I wear a helmet when riding my brakeless fixie?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
HA HA GOTCHA! Ok, well, not really interested in starting another one of those threads, but hey, I know sometimes us fixie riders want some cool covers to put over our BMX helmets eh?
Check these out (http://www.noginsox.com/services.html) so what do you guys say? To hip? To lame? Wrong forum?
I dunno, seems like a funny novelty but don't think I would ever slide one of those over my helmet, maybe it would sway some of you in the no helmet crowd over to the helmeted side of life? Prolly not, but what do you think?

My guess is they would be a bit warm... although they cost about the same as a rain cover. They might be good for wet, winter commuting- maybe if they could boost the wattage of their lights?

Opinion: Among the ugliest wastes of $25 I've ever seen. Why does the brain one light up?

I used to work at a nonprofit teaching kids to fix bikes. We would go out for group rides and force kids to wear helmets, which they hated. We had a bunch of bmx helmets, and the kids would always cover them with a stretchy scully cap, making them look like they had humongous afros.
These are great! The frog rocks. Perfect for the next group ride. Good thing I still have Christmas shopping to do. The brain one probably is trying to show your synapses firing as you ride.
