Hey everybody, I'm guessing this has been discussed but search a little and couldn't find anything real specific.
I'm looking for shoes to wear with my toe cages so they need to be fairly compact, I only ride short distances in the winter (< 2 miles to class and around town) and I'm looking for something waterproof (I like gore-tex, but don't really need it) and some insulation would be nice as welll (equivlant to 200-400 gram thinsulate).
I've been wearing a pair of hiking boots but they're pretty bulky and don't allow for as much ankle flex as I would like. I've clocked almost 2500 trail miles on these boots so they are pretty well broken in, so I'm thinking something with a "low-top" would be best.
Anybody have any ideas?
