good to see someone else who likes citizen cope (also aesop, woohoo).

I have seen both live in the past 6 months. Citizen Cope sounds amazing live and Aes Rock is the most fun concert I have ever been to.

Maybe like 5 years ago Aesop. His **** now is really really horribly. Especially when compared to Music For Earthworms, Float and Daylight. Every CD on Def Jux after Can Ox's The Cold Vein joint pretty much sucks.

The cold vein is a good album. Ever listened to Supastition?
I'm not big into aesop, I've never really given him a thorough listening, so i cant really compare one album to another. From what I have listened to, I will agree some of his **** is terrible. I need to go back and re-listen to the earthworms cd, i know I've got it somewhere.

You do realize that Mr. Lif's "I, Phantom" came out on Def Jux after the Cold Vein, right? But I will say you're right about Canny Ox. That album was amazing. As far as Aes Rock, I can handle about two of his songs in a sitting - I start to get tired after so much non-stop wordplay.

I barely listen to music on cd/mp3. The vinyl packaging of that album is amazing. I was rediscovering it last night....

Not released yet. They're still shopping it. It's damn good though. For you NYC people they're playing their first album Spine To Sea at The Stone (http://www.thestonenyc.com/) on 11/3. Highly recommended.
