Frankly, I would almost rather make a tape. Then again, most people don't have tape decks. The majority of the music I would want to put on a mix, I only have on lp.

Oh and I would probably be interested in organizing some trades. My major issue would be trying to decide what to put on them. I tend to make mixes for people I know a little better and in turn can pick out artists they may not have heard of, but judging from their taste, may enjoy.

amy winehouse....man, it's funny. i'm watching vids on youtube, and she does american soul style really well, but if she talks you can barely understand her. like she's cockney when she talks, but american whe she sings....it's just odd to me. if she sang with that cockney accent it'd be one thing..

I really enjoy the second Pelican record, "The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw". They also put on a decent live show, although; I was not a fan of the latest record.

Nice, I just had dinner with the guitarist a few weeks ago. They're friends of a friend. Apparently they just called it quits.

Yeah I'm pissed, I lost my copy of "The Fire In Our Throats...", it's a great album, I haven't picked up the latest yet.
