i agree, I saw them live in athens last year, they were the opener, and I was absolutely blown away. Its by far one of my fav albums right now.

I saw them (Autolux) opening for Blonde Redhead in SF a while ago at Bimbo's. I had never heard them before and I was completely blown away. So friggin' good.

As far as today goes, I just got a copy of the new Liars LP, Drum's Not Dead, and listened to it before coming to work. I really like it.

Bad Diary Days was the first Pedro song I was exposed and it was the saddest thing I'd ever heard.

But I like Pedro a lot; especially Control.

Old Skool punk, Suicidal Tendencies, the Ramones, Agnostic Front, Black Flag, Bad Brains. Picked up some old skool soul, James Brown, and some Ohio Players. And then there is the Drum and Bass, Techno stuff, Squarepusher, Chrystal Method, DJ Rap, Digweed, Diselboy...

there aren't many labels that i can honestly say have put out nothing i've heard and not liked, but plan-it x has put out nothing i've heard and not liked. if the word "ultrajam" sounded right coming from me (and of course it doesn't), i'd describe plan-it x as ultrajam.

at second glance, "ulrajam"...hee hee.

i have respect for people that are straight edge, but almost everyone i know that is still straight edge is so because they do it for personal reasons and have a sense of humor about it - they're not doing it to be on a soap box and preach about it. ask me what i listen to before you call me a mall punk and criticize my tasty beverage... i bet our musical tastes are on par for the most part. enjoy
