I am about to get more ink slung. The tire tread pattern that is on my Homegrown right now going across my arm. Somewhere in the tread path will be the remains of a black cat.
I have streched my lobs to 6 gauge. I can wear nipples from the first set of rims that came on my Homegrown.
I got the chain bracelet, making a necklace out of chainlink parts and puca shells. The necklace is really to show my love for cycling and surfing.
Anyone out there got cycling tatz or jewerly too?

I have been wondering if anyone here had a tatoo. None of my stuff is extreme or cycling related, my first sport was basketball. I have a snake on my back and six piercings in my ears. For my birthday, I am getting another tatoo but haven't figured out what I want or where.

My avatar in one of the tattoos I have on my leg. Uh oh...now a local might recognize me. Dang! I really like Haring's work and then I saw it in the book cover for " The Quotable Cyclist". Well then I just had to have it on my body.
I do have tattoo's on each upper arm also.
I hope Pete Clark doesn't see this.:D

No tattoo yet. Rainbabe has talked about getting lily tattoo. I told her if she will I will, maybe a bicycle wheel on my ankle/lower leg, just above my my cycling socks. But I kind of like your avatar/tattoo urban_assault. Mind if I use that instead? :D

At one point I had a number of piercings but now am just left with tongue. I have a couple of tatoos from my punks days. I still love the music and lifestyle but am too old to play anymore. :)

I want one of these

but they say the large size is 110 mm, which can't be right. then I thought I'd just make one myself, but those links would be kinda big, while these are "nickel mini-chains manufactured by Wippermann in Germany," for whatever that's worth.
as far as tats, I'll suppose it's meant to be if I get a chainring in the leg. I kinda like the idea, actually.

I like that piece of jewellery. Germans can do nice things.
Are those tattoos you are speaking about washable?
I heard that nowadays there are tattoos, which are very durable, but which can be eventually washed out, if an owner wishes it.
Or is it the permanent stuff?
If latter, then it would seem a bit too dramatic for me. I am trying to be as open minded as I can, however I can not comprehend what for I would need a tattoo? Could you give an insight on it?
Correct me if I am wrong, but I have a feeling that tattoos belong to a criminal subculture. I am not trying to belittle those who like tattoos. I am just trying to understand this occurrence.

This guy got a Cannondale tattoo on his bum! Crazy but I like it.
I think tattoos are like clothes, jewelry, makeup, etc. It's something that others see and judge you on. People think different things, but I like them tattoos. I don't have one, I'm 15, but I might get one when I age a bit and get a job and stuff. I think people that have tattoos are superior to those who don't IMO. I think tattoos are really cool lookin, and it shows a bit about their personality. It also shows that they aren't picky about the whole tattoo thing like the people who play parents on TV, they want one, they get one, they have one.

I have a chainring tattoo on my right calf, its natural. :)
I was debating a chainring on my left shoulder. I like the patterns you can get, and it has more personal significance than some of the other things I was considering.
I also want another couple of holes in my ears. I currently have 3 in each, one at the top of my left ear. I saw someone with three at the top the other day, and I like it. But I'm not sure work would approve!

I did a henna chainring on my calf for a tour I organized this past weekend. Naturally, I did it myself by tracing part of a chainring and then filling it in with henna. The idea was to have the look of a greasy chain ring pattern that you get on your calf when you ride.
It didn't look quite like a chainring and most people asked me what the tribal-looking design represented. Whew, glad it is henna and not ink!
Post a pic of yours, Joe.
Right now, I have a tat on my right arrm that says "Carpe Diem, Quam Minimum Credulo Postero" but by the end of next month, a flowing American flag with the silhouette of a cyclist in front of it will grace my left arm. On my right thigh is the faded remnants of a letter S I did when I was 12 with a needle and india ink. Thinking of having the Paramount logo P put over that!

I've got a tattoo of two polarbears on my right hip. Hoping to get another one someday... probably on left bicep... I'm partial to the tribal bands. I am thinking of creating my own and putting something symbolic in the band. Haven't really put anything serious thought into it at this point. More concerned about getting into shape and losing more weight. :)

I've been wanting to get a cycling related tattoo since last summer (2001) but haven't been able to find anything I like.
I'd like one on my right leg just above the sock.
My wife says if I get one she'll get one. :)
Anyone know of a site with a large selection of cycling artwork?

another option is google. You can do an image search.
Unfortunately my tat has to wait. My buddy wants to work on an agressive tread pattern before doing it. Anyone going to the Houston Moonlight ramble should see what I did get. A tiki god to go inbetween my hawaiian girlz.
I thought I was the weird one, glad to see I am not the only person in the tribe of tattooed cyclist.
