Ready to hear the ironic part?

I found the website searching for goatees because I have decided to grow a goatee again (it's been 7 or 8 years since I had a goatee last). I'm about 60% grown in right now. :D

7 or 8 YEARS?! I have not been without since I could manage one that was less than scraggly. I also had some great molester moustaches and mojos around the 19-20 year mark. :)

My drivers license picture has my old goatee....and every time I look at that picture I think "Bubba"....that wasn't the look I wanted (or want now). Hopefully since I wear my hair much shorter/spiked now, it might not look quite so red-necky.

Mine looks just like the avatar, only I think my face is fatter.

My wife is adamantly opposed to goatees precisely because it made me look evil. That was kinda the point, but in a marriage one has to make allowances.

May try to sneak one in later this winter.

PS Someone once told me that the "Spock" goatee was more precisely called a Van Dyk. Anyone confirm or debunk that?

I like Anna Nicole's best. Man, that cracked me up.
My goat' is forked. Parts right in the middle, for some reason. Talk about an evil look!:o I tend to stroke it a lot to keep it neat and tangle-free, so it doesn't usually look like that, tho. Lots of gray in it, too.:( I shave my head(with clippers), so I guess it evens out.

Van Dyck was also known for painting portraits of people having short, pointed beards, and that's why this particular kind of beard was named after him a vandyke. clicky 1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goatee)

Um, I think a lot of the people on there are evil with or without the goatee...

I need to trim my beard so it's back to just being mostly a goatee - that section is about 2" long, but the rest is out to about 3/4". It looks like a full beard mostly...

Thanks to this thread, I trimmed my goatee.....actually I reduced my "Al Borland" beard down to a goatee....looks far better now, but will look so much better once I get a haircut.
