So I just met a guy out back of my apartment and handed him a MTB threadless stem I wasn't using and was handed this in exchange:

I think I'm going to have to modify this decal a little:

I think it should make a great winter fixie - tons of space for fenders and whatnot. More pics will come as she progresses...

sounds shady

sounds shady, what with the meeting out back and all...but i doubt it is. i mean, with everything stripped down that far and building it up yourself, you ought to be able to spot any little thing left that might go wrong, you know?

Um, the parking lot is out back, and he drove here, so I wouldn't have to try to cary the frame over my shoulder... He bought the bike at a garage sale earlier this year, and tore off the parts he could for his girlfreind's upcoming single speed...

Take that '2' off and you'll be good to go

I've got one of those blue fuji royale frames sleeping beneath half a foot of snow. Some guy left it out for trash so I asked him if I could grab it. Unfortunately it's super ultra large sized variant, so not terribly useful to me T_T

That is a good trade. I have one of those primed up in the shed, waiting for winter boredom to set in.

If I hadn't gotten 3 DVDs from Netflix on the way back in with the frame, I'd probably be working on it now. Maybe tonight or tomorrow...

"Take that '2' off and you'll be good to go"

I vote for removing the 1, the 2 and the J I

Appleseed (CGI anime - on screen now), Returner (I think just regular anime), and Purple Rain. The last one is the theme for the next Stupor Bowl - I figured watching it might give me some insight into the race...

Nevermind, Returner is real live actors...

Or you could take off the 2 AND the S. That'd be cool. :D (Duh)

are there any known ways to date fuji road frames? just curious.
Appleseed is the jam btw. Of course if you are watching a dubbed version, you still have yet to see it. :D

I could have gone either way, but went with the dubbed...

leave the 2, take off the 1, the s and the d, and make an "i <3" sticker and put that on right in front. or "i have".

Project Updates:

1) The Fuji frame weighs more than the complete Falcon shown behind it. I think a lot of that is pedals and saddle...

2) Carrying a 24 pack of PBR in a Chrome Kremlin is a lot more comfortable than carrying a 12 pack. The trick - put it in so that the long side is along your back.

Um, I think I might have to wait until tomorrow to start wrenching on this bike...
