i don't have entourage installed onto my new comp, which is why i haven't emailed dennis with this. but…

i emailed fgg with pics of my bike, paypalled $$$ too, and my bike never showed up. so today i use the marque finder and mine appears to be the most recent bianchi, but with a partial number. still it's not there on the regular list.

anyone know what gives?

give it a few more days...it can take weeks to post and the new stuff shows up before it's linked to on the front page. Sounds like you're good.

Yes, things will show up in searches that aren't live on the site yet. Basically, that means your's is in the pipe and should show up very soon.

it'll work. mine took about 10 days to show up.

eddie, if you're html inclined, i've noticed that dennis puts the links to the upcoming bikes in the html, but they are commented out so they don't show up in your browser. he just uncomments a few bikes each day. they must be in the search database as well.

this must be yours (not sure why the number is not complete) ...

to clarify, it's not a problem with your new computer

what is that adhesive vinyl stuff you used to wrap that bike? where can i get some?

thanks everyone, and re the vinyl; i got it at the hardware store on the sw corner of mott and kenmare. it's $1.25 a yard and about 24" wide, comes in lots of colors.

do you have any close up shots of that? that's a pretty good idea if you can make it look smooth. hope you got the lightweight stuff and not 3-5 year or something. that stuff will NEVER come off.

it's not 100% smooth. i could have taken more time with it and got it to be, but i didn't. looks fine to me though. kinda tones down the excessive gorgeousness of that fork :D

and yeah it's lightweight

cool. i like that idea. i used to work in a sign shop and never though of that. you can use a light amount of soapy water under it and a squeegy to help get rid of bubbles

i got the idea from jay rooney who did the same to his. it looks dope.

i still plan to powdercoat mine at some point. maybe when it gets too snowy to ride i will.

definitely made the pista stand out in the melee of them riding around lately. and i'm always a sucker for chrome stays

I really wish Dennis would not post my email with mine. I asked him several times to remove it, but he never did- Seems he automatically includes addresses -even when I requested not to have it posted in the first place. It is a goldmine for spambots.

funny, cause i really don't see too many of em. maybe everybody else in downtown nyc is too cool. like really, hardly ever. i like chrome stays too. but i think i'll paint the whole thing.

maybe just in general with most people starting out buying flite100's and pista's... can't speak for NYC as i didn't really see a whole lot of bikes aside from messengers and a few kids in williamsburg.

Looks like Dennis is about to give a shout out to FGE
