Yeah, I like the promotions thing...no promotions for me in over 15 years...
If I'm managing, no one is available to do the work. So I'm stuck.
But then you're a teacher...everyone gets promoted but you :(
What the heck. They pay me more and more, and I don't have to listen to my whiny co-workers' miserable complaints.
Being an übergeek has its benefits! Guess things are OK!
