POst count

Why does the number of post one does not show up under their screen name or avatar like other sites do? Instead you have to go to their profile to see how many post they have done. Just wondering.

I believe because Joe (the owner) wanted to deemphasize post count and not have people obsessing about how many posts they have. It's quality, not quantity.

Yeh I agree with this. If posts were shown under the users name on his/her posts then someone with little posts could not be taken seriuosly although they may have very good information. Although someone with a large amount of posts who post one liner crap all day in Foo could be taken as an expert on the subject when they are not at all!
