Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. OK, so it's a little early, but never to early to start thinking.

My Bike Forums New Year's Resolution is to no longer answer any more questions that can be found by Googling. If you are to far behind on the learning curve to know how to operate Google by this point and time, than my theory is that you just have to stay behind.

I can't count how many times somebody asks a question that can clearly be answered if they would just search!

That's ok...I won't hold it against you. I'm sure I deserve it for something or other.

Lose the next 20 pounds.
Ride from 1 end of Vermont to the other.
Take a framebuilding class and build my own bike.

Enjoy every day I ride.

I resolve to meet new friends, ride more miles on the bike, tuck away some money for a rainy day, and get my money's worth on my ski pass.

My resolution is to finally change my location from Pasadena, TX to somewhere else in Texas.

Get registered for the MS150 coming up in April, and get my butt in shape to do it. Been off the bike for over eight years, forgot how much fun it is :p ....

That pretty much means you'll never answer any question ever again.

I've been asked to help a friend of mine get ready for the Houston ride. Helped her get a bike, now have to show her how to use it. She wants me to ride it with her to be her "bodyguard".

Spend 2006 (age 50) training specifically for making an attempt at Mt. Washington in 2007 (age 51). Seems like a long time away (June 2007) -- but it's really only 18 months to prep, and from what I hear it's a brutal ride.

Post training logs here at BF.

To actually post bicycle-related material instead of spending time in the Lounge.
