Bicycle Mechanics - Ritchey WCS Road Stem

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Does anyone have any experience with the Richey WCS Road Stem? Heard anything about it? Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Ed,
Take a look at the Ritchey WCS stem. It is very light at 125g, has a four bolt head, is flip-flopable, and comes in a large range of sizes and angles. Lot of folks on this forum use it.

2nd Ritchey WCS stem, stiff, light, no frills, just great function at a great price.

My LBS recommended the Richey WCS stem as well for my new build.

Ditto on the Ritchey WCS. This was the stem that Craig Calfee recommended when I had the same questin. I have them on all my bikes now and I'm very happy with them.
Another advantage for them is the diagonal opening for the steering tube clamp. I think it was Velonews who tested this stem a while back and concluded the diagonal clamp is significantly kinder and gentler to delicate carbon steering tubes and for that reason alone it's a superior stem.
They come in both -17 and -6/84 degree (reversable) rises. I find them to be good solid & stiff stems. And they look nice too.

I have a Ritchey WCS stem paired with Deda 215 bars. I have had no problem with about 1400 total miles.

Thank you very much for your kind offer! But, that's a bit too long for me. Thanks anyway.
