Foo - You know what would be REALLY good on Firefox??

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

A keyboard shorcut to change between tabs, like the shortcut (Alt-Tab) to change between program windows on the computer. The amount of time i have to take my hand off the keyboard, on the mouse to chagne a tab is hard work (some may call me lazy) but still i think a (alt-tab) like function on Mozilla would be good for switiching tabs since i always use (ctrl-t) to make a new one.
Just my suggestion :)

You mean like the menu in Opera that pops up when you press Ctrl-Tab, and it's like the windows Alt-Tab menu?
Or like the keyboard buttons 1 and 2 to switch to the left or right tab from the current one when you're not in a text box, again in Opera?

Are you hinting at something? http://imagehost.biz/ims/pictes/209050.gif

Ctrl-Tab.
You're welcome ;)
(and Ctrl-w closes the current tab)

OMG OMG OMG!!! Thankyou!!!!! I knew they wouldn't be that stupid to leave something like that out :D:D.
Ctrl + Tab = a lifetime of joy.
Fat chance for Opera MadMan :P. Nice try though :D

Too bad they told the next tab trick before me, but, here's an alternate way: Ctrl+PgDown is next tab and Ctrl+PgUp is previous tab.. They say that ctrl+shift+tab does previous tab, but all it does is open a new window for me (firefox 1.5 on linux).. Here's a good page of shortcuts: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Using_Firefox:_Keyboard_shortcuts

Now, since the original question has been answered, the hijack:
Anyone remember the name of the extension that "clones" the current window (or tab) automagically when opening a new window or tab?
