Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me, please?

I'm trying to correctly identify my bike that I bought about 5 years ago, because a couple of days ago, some unkindly person  stole my bike pump that was a matching silver/chrome finish and fitted into the space in front of the seat post/bottom bracket tube; then I hope to be able to find a replacement somewhere.....

It's a Peugeot Racing Bike, finished in grey and chrome (non-lugged frame), with serial number: Y4010186. It's fitted with Simplex derailleurs, 12 speed/vitesses, CLB Brakes and brake levers, Guidons Philippe D352 handlebar, front wheel has Rigida AL1320 700C rim and Maillard 11 84 hub, rear wheel has Maillard Helico Matic hub (unknown rim, but looks identical to front).

I've got high and low resolution .jpg pictures of the bike and can e-mail them to anyone kindly willing to help me out.

Lastly, if anyone might have or know where I can get a genuine replcement pump, then please, please contact me!

Thanks in advance!!

Based on the serial number and rear hub, it would appear to be a 1985 model with a frame that was built in late 1984. Pictures would definitely help. You can post them here. When replying, select the Go Advanced button, then Manage Attachments. There is a 100kb limit on photo size, so you will probably have to re-size them.

The other thing that people will be looking for is the tubing brand and model. There should be a sticker at the top of the down tube or seat tube.
