I'm putting the final touches on a rebuild of a bike I've owned since 1977: an early 60s Schwinn tandem.

This has been many different bikes over the years, and this encarnation is likely temporary too. It is now a comfort bike with 12 speed indexed shifting.

I'll do a webpage soon and post a link.

However, I was soo excited when my tandem cables came in the mail today and I was able to add the rear brake and the two deraileurs. The indexed shifting seems to work well, not bad for Huffy components. I was almost certain I would have to disable the indexing due to my ineptitude.
