Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Should I Throw a Quickie Alleycat?

some of our hosts from the BFFGMNG (salome and teadoggg) are coming to NYC for new year's weekend. i was wondering if there'd be enough interest to throw a BFFG mini-alleycat new year's eve (avoiding times square at all costs). i think i'd make it for BFFG people and out-of-towners and first time alleycatters only. whatdya think? is it too late?

let me know what the interest level is and i'll get it together. prizes prolly won't be much, but we'll see.

oh, and i'm sure you'll all have no problems with places to stay. we's good folk round these parts.

i would want to come, but a fellow pirate is having a shindig (no goats invited!) that cannot be missed. so, i think most washingtonians would be out.

I can't make it to your neck of the woods for NYE but I'm hoping to get down to Chicago for ... whatever the hell "event" you guys held last summer. How much did you have to break your bike down to get it on the bus?

My gf, her friend and I are planning on making a trip to NYC in the new year. Maybe I can meet up w/ some of the NY crew then and cause some trouble.

Ya'll betta watchout! I'm gunnin fo DFL!!! and following the trend of DFL getting stupid nice presents, may I suggest I get a new frame if I get DFL? That would motivate me more! It takes work and planning to get DFL.
