I want to get a new fork but after i tried taking it apart, i could not find a way to take off that black WTB thing. Any ideas guys??

Looks like just the top of the headset. Should just pull off. Can you tap the top of the fork tube with a rubber mallet? It should just slide on through.

Yeah, it's just wedged in place a bit. You can also unwedge it by rapping on the edge of the part with the WTB markings, the off-center force will almost always unwedge them.
