I think it was a known fact that if you drink more then 10 or 15 cans of Redbull or "V" you can die. I watched this thing on the news that some guy got killed at this party by drinking 10 cans of redbull in less then an hour. I don't know how he died but it sure killed him.

10 cans of Red Bull in 1 hour? Holy Mackerel Batman!!! I've had a few cans but never that many. After 2 or so I start grinding my teeth and I am crazy with jitters.

At my old job we had free soft drinks. Yay! So I worked really late one night (1am), came in the next morning at 7:30 and was a bit tired, so had one, then another...
Around lunch I was feeling jittery, so I looked in my trash can. There were 13 empty cans in my trash can from that day.
All I can say is, hooray caffiene, my special friend.
(PS: According to this site, I can have 350 more cans of Coke Zero today. Four down, pass it around, 349 more cans of Coke Zero on The Wall!)

Not in all brands...depends on what you're drinkin'. I don't think A&W(or maybe it's Hires?) has caffeine in it.

:rolleyes: Somehow I doubt it was redbull alone that killed him. I'd put money on him mixing it with alcohol, and suddenly that turns into 10 redbulls, and 10 shots in less than an hour, something that I'd believe would be dangerous.
In my junior high days, we would have chugging contests, and down 5 or 6 Hansen's energy drinks in a minute or so. You couldn't stand still for a few hours, but nobody died.

You brought up a pet pieve of mine. Yes Barqs does have caffien, but until Barqs was bought by coke, it wasn't even called root beer. It was just another soft drink. I like barqs, and drink it regularly, but it is absolutely not real root beer.

Thats what the web is for. I used to use the web to order the Coastal Fog Root Beer, possibly the best root beer ever, made from San Francisco. For a reason unknown to me, Coastal Fog stopped making it.
