Introductions - I Just Joined

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
WOW, some great intro's, here's a little about myself and what forums I may be found in the future. I just turned 65, which means I'm a young old dawg. Been cycling forever, mostly road and track racing, ride a fixed on the street. Recently got a tandem, now my wife won't let me ride solo unless I sneak out when she's not looking. Been a spinning instructor for the past six years and always give a killer class. Lastly, I'm the designer of the HPR, that crazy figure 8 velodrome that most cycle messengers are familiar with.

Hey, I'm not a messr, but I'm familiar with the HPR - I hope that thing gets set up again, somewhere...

Welcome again from another NC member!
Welcome to the forums! Looks like you have plenty to contribute, and plenty of threads to participate in.
Cheers.
Glad you are here. Welcome.
Thanks for the warm welcome; any questions in any forum and I'll try to respond with some intellegence, or maybe something really silly. Have a merry, merry and happy, happy holiday.
Either way, you'll fit right in.

You're welcome to introduce yourself formally at the Singlespeed/Fixed Gear Forum!
There has been much discussion of the figure-8 track recently, and whether or not it can be located and/or revived. Your work is quite popular here. Glad you could join us.
