I recently returned to cycling after a ten year hiatus. At first, my interest was simply based on a need for exercise, but I re-discovered how much fun cycling can be. I now commute to work nearly every day in virtually all types of weather 12-20 miles per day depending on how I feel. What I have learned in the three
months I have been commuting:
1: It is way easier and much more fun than I anticipated.
2: I would much rather ride than drive, even in the rain.
3: My back doesn't hurt when I ride.
4: Dogs not restrained by a leash should be shot on site(maybe only with a tranquilizer gun) :D
5: Motorists seem to be more aware of cyclists than they used to be. Except for mini vans.
6: Mini vans WILL attempt to kill you at every opportunity.
