On Thanksgiving Saturday or this Sunday? I'm thinking of starting at 6:15 AM. Hopefully, the vast majority of the climbing will be done before it gets hot.

ovo and I will be there!
uhm.... don't you know ovo doesn't actually attend rides... he just talks about them?
Yeah, I don't expect ovo or ova to show up. If they were even thinking of showing up, they would have asked such natural questions as start time, start location, intended pacing, regroup/water stops.
Is this really a 120 mile ride? Ouch!
If I had a car, I would have loved to do Palomar.
Good luck on that ride!

I'd love to do it, but not this week... going out of town on Monday for a couple weeks and need to spend some time with the family Sunday afternoon. This ride sounds awesome, though - is it scheduled for another time?

It got trimmed down to 106 miles and 10k feet of climbing.

There's talk about Thanksgiving Saturday. And if I actually carry through with doing this ride on Sunday and don't come to regret it, I may start riding it semi-regularly.
I doubt anyone's joining me, but just in case...
Starting at the middle school, same route as the original Pie ride. Rolling between 6:10 AM and 6:20 AM. Water stops at convenience stores at mile 38 and mile 69. If we're making good time (and I'm not going at it solo), also a stop at mile 54 for pie.
If I don't come to regret doing this ride, maybe we'll do it again on Oct 8.

Have fun out there, Jason. Be careful!
