hi!

just got 1 foot of snow (and counting) (my own "non scientific" mesure...) this morning in montreal Qc Can,

did not see much other bikes this morning... :o it was pretty extrem workout i must say. it took me something like 1h15 to make my 12km run... still much faster than cars. traffic is _really_ bad. cars get stuck in snow in the middle of the road/highway...

boy, that was a fun ride. some colleagues saw me... humm, before they said i was courageous, now they are not so sure anymore...

have a nice day!

Same here, I was in morntreal, first real snow ride. Took me exaclt 1:15 minutes as well to do my 11.5Km ride... hahaha! It was hard, humbling, fun, insane and hard. :)

And it's funy the cowerkers who saw me all thought I was crazy. Some openly laughed, some stared in amazing disbelief.

I DO hope the snow is cleared some before the end of the day. :)

Edit: It is 1 feet of snow btw. Predictions were for 30cm, which is 0.98 feet. :)

did you have to walk a lot? i must have walked 1km because of all the snow on the sidewalks and cars everywhere...

you go from lachine to where? (i go from rosemont to the border of saint-laurent).

oh yeah, I had to walk some (probably a kilometer as well), the sidewalks were not possible, and the 55th avenue in dorval is crazy with that snow. Cagers had no love for me.

I go from Ville-st-pierre, to close to the corner of cote-de-liesse/55th avenue in dorval.
