Hi
What I am looking for is where to get a "how to" book on wheel construction. How to put the rim and the hub together with spokes/how to true wheels that are bent. Any links or book names/authors would be helpful. I just got back into bikes again after many years. When I was a kid I was the neighborhood bicycle repair guy but I never could true a wheel. One of those things I always wanted to learn.

He has a reference section for building wheels that is incredible. As for books. Sorry not to sure. This article covers almost everything.

The standard reference is Jobst Brandt's The Bicycle Wheel, which explains the why as well as the howto.
Sheldon also has a link to the excellent
