I am about to replace my tires. I've read all the posts re: tires, and many have recommended Conti GP 3000's. Is this the best one for long wear and safety? I am presently running Specialized Armadillos, and have had good luck with them -- no flats!

I would look into the 2000's if you want wear and safety characteristics.

Michelin Axial Pro's. The only clincher to win Paris-Roubaix. And survive 4,000 miles on my bike...

I've heard a few good things about these tires...

For a higher mileage/smooth riding tire consider them in 700 x 26.

Stay away from their house brand tubes though...
