what do you guys think of the gt fly frame. will it be strong enough for a 60kg rider for dirt jumps?

Yeh it'll be fine, my freind who is like 165lbs is on one for dirt it'll be fine, just replace the fork its not the strongest.

i have seen the frame only for sale on the net. but does anyone know if i could order just the frame in australia. if so where from?

gt = not so good products compared to other things you could buy...
how much does the frame cost?

about $140. (the whole bike is $300)

GT is one step away from making its debut at MalWart. I have an old high end Schwinn - from before they appeared in one of the big boxes. It now collects dust because I don't want to be associated with anything Monster Mart. Will you want your GT when they are being flogged for $49 with a free box of dish detergent?

GT won't be in a depot store. Why would they have launched a new high end bike and then go to the big box route?

Ebay there was one for a wholesaler about 2 or 3 day's ago.
