I just received a call from my fiance, Roger, in Denver. I don't know all the particulars yet, but it appears that the Denver PD didn't drop the ball this time! The individual that had the Merlin called the bike store trying to sell it. Long story short, Perfomance Bike Store in Denver ROCKS! If you have any Christmas needs for your cyclist this Christmas Season and you're in Denver...give these guys your business...they deserve it! Mike Noonan and Gene....you guys are hero's in our eyes!

Wow! I am glad to read about this- what happened with the idiot that had the bike? Did they call the police on the thief? Man, your fiance must be totally stoked to get his ride! Tell him I said congrats! :beer:

How funny, I was in the store when it happened!!! I posted in the general cycling section if you want to read how it went down. I think I saw your fiancee. :)

I never read triathalon posts but I'm in general and commuter a lot if you respond.

p.s. the bike mechanic that turned him in was afraid of being seen so maybe not mentioning names might be appropriate. Did he get a healthy reward for putting his arse on the line?
