Has anyone come across a suspension fork suitable for tandem use with travel appropriate for road use?

I notice Cannondale has some headshok stuff, but I couldn't find anyone selling them individually on the net. Also, I doubt it will work in my 1964 Tandem frame.

Has anyone used an old style springer front fork on a tandem?

i also saw the suspension hubs
http://www.pantourhub.com/

But these are kinda pricey.

Depending on what wheel sixe you are looking for Rock Shox made a Ruby you may be able to find, and Manitou makes a fork called a Luxe.
