I'm looking at this wheel http://nycbikes.com/item.php?item_id=472, or one of the black IRO wheels... I don't understand the 3speed part. So there is one gear on the fixed side and two gears on the freewheel side, but what cogs are on the freewheel.

i've often wondered--you see people on here trash suzue basics, then others get on and say that with vigilant maintenance, they've had no problems. people get on here and say nyc bikes is a crappy business. but i wonder what the results would be if there were a boardwide poll. maybe i should start one....

They don't allow you to bring your bike in the shop. And if you try (I was on a ride and needed some air in my tires) they get pissy and rude.
