So this question is from a completely aesthetic position, but what is everyones stance on mix matched tires. I have some new gator skins (700x28's) and an essentially new Michelin Dynamic front tire (700x25). So what would you do?

burly tire in the back, pretty tire in the front. form follows function. bulletproof is pretty.

Run the matching gatorskins first, then when the rear wears out, replace it with the dynamic.

i always rotate my tires. new on the front, then switch it to the back as needed. my tires are often mismatched. i guess ideally i'd always match them, but it doesn't really work out like that in my world.

I agree--I was a lazy ****** today though and didn't fully prepare for the transit strike related commute. My front is still a 28mm Armadillo, but my back tire is my shiatty $8 25mm that I bought for use on the trainer. I was too lazy to change it last night or this morning.
