ok, so it's only december and i'm already sick of the music i listen to on my rollers.

does anyone have bands they like that tend to stay in the 80-100 beats per minute range? (preferrably not terribly cheesy techno?)

alternatively, would anyone be interested in a training music trade? we could all burn one cd that we train to and i would be willing to coordinate a trade among forum folks...

You may want to try going to an aerobics instructor website and doing a swap there, since they tend to religiously monitor their bpm. Or get music from an aerobics music website. They've got tons of music. Just look for the bpm you're interested in working with.

Try Metallica Kill'em All. Seriously, I know it sounds weird, but its not to fast, keeps a steady pace and is pretty intense (maybe omit the bass solo). It keeps those hour long indoor trainer sessions pretty interesting. Conversely try some hip hop like Aesop Rock or tribe called quest which tends to keep a steady rythm.. Works for me.
