Triathlon - Renn disc wheels

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Has anybody used these discs, especially the 575? They seem like good value, but are they any good? What other disc wheels would you recommend? Would I be better to wait for a quality secondhand one to come on the market?
A lot of questions, I know. I'd really appreciate any comments.

Everyone loves them
Thanks for the link zakk, Renn really seem to have a good reputation. I'm going to have to work on my wife now. I reckon that even with shipping to NZ I'm going to end up paying NZ$750 for the Renn 575, whereas a HED standard disc is NZ$1300 and the superlight is NZ$1500. Do you think I can sell her on the idea of saving $750 by buying one!

I do have a 575 myself and I couldn't recommend it enough! Great performance (well, as good as it gets with the engine...), fantastic build quality and service that beyond anything else.
My disc got damaged in shipping; FedEx decided that would look nicer with a hole in it... Despite the fact that I bought my disc used, Frank from Renn fixed the disc for free!!! You just can't go wrong with service like that!
Frank's a triathlete, so he understands what we need and applies a no-bull approach to design and manufacturing. It just works. Wish more companies would be like Renn.
Except for the sound, you would not be able to tell the difference between a Renn 575 and a Hed.
