Been riding for 25+ years. Did some racing early on and then started doing some real cycling (just kidding. It's all real cycing), self-supported touring, state rides etc. Met some great people through cycling, including my wife. Been going out to Colorado every year for 12 years to get a couple of weeks of cyling in the mountains. Love mountains! Now "lead" (means I send out the email to everyone) a Saturday ride group going on 2 years. Took over that group from a guy who'd been running it for about 10 years. There's a bunch of great cycling folks here and at least several really good shops. I try to do just about all my own work on my bikes. Worked in a great shop for a few years.
This site has been a neat find for me. Everyone seems supportive and helpful...just plain nice. I wouldn't have expected less. Hope to spend lots more time here and give back to the community when I can.
