In 10 years or so of bicycling, I've accumulated a lot of stuff: bicycles, of course, and tools, shorts, jerseys, socks and the like.
Last year I retired about 40 bicycle event commemorative t-shirts to the rag bin, and my t-shirt drawer is still almost too full to close. I've got more water bottles than I care to count. I have a couple of pin back buttons on my bulletin board from cycling events too.
I've accumulated a few books, some TdF videos, trainer workout videos. I've got stacks of cycling magazines that need to be recycled.
I would guess that most of us have stuff like this. But it's the other stuff that I'm curious about: the chi-chis and knick-knacks that clutter our houses. Looking around me I can see 2 bicycling posters on the wall, a little bicycle clock on my desk, a framed bicycling post card, and a little bicycle balancing/spinning toy (the little guy on the bike rides around and around). Elsewhere in the house I have an antique framed cycling lithograph. I have a picture frame made out of bicycle chain. And my favorite: a set of 6 drink coasters in the form of bicycle wheels in a wire holder that looks like a bicycle frame.
What kind of cycling related gew-gaws can be found in your living space? Does anyone out there have a set of Chris King salt and pepper shakers? A Campagnolo Big Corkscrew? A Park Tool toilet paper holder?
