Strickly FG&SS related stuff.
I'm leaving this Sat for HK and then Tokyo. Not sure if there is any FG stuff in HK, but I'm sure there are places to visit and stuff to haul back from Tokyo. So anybody out there with any good ideas? Where are the must see bike shops in Tokyo? Where is the fabled Kalvinka (spell?) works?

Not that I'm any help, but I am also curious. Planning a trip to Tokyo sometime next year. If nothing else, post some tips when you get back.

ZOMG!
your going to Hong Kong!

Anyways, You HAVE to check my old LBS when I lived in HK.
Its called the Flying Ball Bicycle Company!
http://www.flyingball.com/
They have the SICKEST mtb and road stuff. Stuff that isn't even avaliable here in North America!
(its also where I got my very first bike! a KHS haha)

Its nearest to the Cheung Sha Wan MTR stop.

I seriously drool each time I go there.

Say hi to Ben Lun to me if you do go!

Just got back from HK. Hit a couple of the shops in Kowloon (transl-sp?) with the help of my interpreter (i.e. my wife)... I was mostly after MTB stuff but had a look at the road stuff as well.

Unsuprisingly, north amercian parts (SRAM, raceface, etc) and euro stuff was expensive, but asian made parts, especially Shimano, was priced about about 50-60% of the best deals I can find in Toronto.

I stocked up.

oh yeah the cheapest most bootlegged looking jersey in size small would be great for me too. seriously if its in the bargain/scrap bin/dumpster out back, get it!
