Put a bike park in, Can I take the $750,000?

In all fairness, though, I think that that money would get something somewhat more specific, probably a scale model of the paths, trees, gazeebos etc.... for everybody to see.

When my local library burnt down (it served a small city and a large county, maybe 1mil people), all the insurance money was used to fund a feasability study by management consultants to look into the concept of building an information centre. Im not kidding.

Fortunately national lottery money became available for building an actual bricks and mortar library with paper books and stuff.

It does seem quite a shame to have a quiet, peaceful place in a thriving metropolis, which is otherwise available for special events. $750K is a small price to pay to alter that.

"...some of the many prohibitions in the park, which include bicycling, inline skating, skateboarding, loitering or swimming or wading in the fountain. "

How dare they lift the prohibition on loitering in the park?! Why, next thing you know, there'll be picnics and sunbathing. Mark my words, our society can't abide such indecencies!
:roflmao:

Today's park must have something to draw people other than just natural beauty, peace and quiet. It must have attractions like
restaurants, theaters, laser shows, fireworks, golf courses, you know. How can a simple park compete with these modern amusements?

Let's get with the 21st century!

(If you can't drive around in it, it's doomed!)
