That looks like a really good deal. With XTR pretty much everything except shifters i would say go for it. I looked on the specialized website and the components on the 05 enduro comp were not as good as the one you listed here. As a matter of fact, those are the components for the 05 S-Works Enduro which is probably gunna run you about $5000. But if the bike was upgraded in the store or something (which i doubt) and they want to sell you it for $18-- thats amazing, just dont thing thats what your getting stock.

Uh...actually that was the componet package for the s-works. I've updated the text for the real comp componts.

I would still say thats a good deal.

What do you want to upgrade on it that brings it to $3,200.

I agree - get the Comp and upgrade stuff as you wear it out or it breaks...nothing wrong with that build as is...it isn't perfect, but that's what time is for. Plus it give you an excuse to do some wrenching later on.. ;)

Hmm... You can get an '06 Expert for $3500, which would give you the new frame, more suspension travel and better brakes. It depends on what you want I guess, but for the same price point, it seems like a no-brainer to me.

Mostly XT stuff, thompson seat post, stem and Avid Juicy 7s.

Yeh, Thats what I was looking at. The 06 has the new frame, price is pretty much the same with upgrades. Monocoque FSR frame was supossed to be good though.

I have a season on both an 04 monocoque as well as the new 05 frame. They're both great, performance wise.

The extra coin for the 05+ gets you a lower shock ratio and ISCG mount, both of which are nice.
