Commuting - A couple web resources for lighting

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was rummaging around on looking for information on LED headlights and came up with this!!! (http://ledmuseum.home.att.net/ledleft.htm) Can you say "more than I ever wanted to know"? But wait, there's more. It tells about this!!!! (http://www.ledmuseum.org/bike1.htm) Almost as cool as Mike's bar-end LEDs.

Are your eyes glazing over yet? There's more. Check out Candlepower Forums (http://www.candlepowerforums.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi). There appear to be a fair number of cyclists and pedestrians there who have as much interest in seeing and being seen as we do. I did a search on "bike" and came up with 200-300 threads!

Did you know there are people who will spend hundreds of dollars for a flashlight? I guess bike-geeks shouldn't point fingers at light geeks.

Thanks! This looks cool. I have an old VistaLight I don't use anymore, I might give one of these a try as a tail light.
