BMX - 20.5

hey, i'm 5'11" and i wanna get a new frame and i have a 21" top tube right now and i was thinkin about goin to a 20.5" top tube......would that be to short for my size?

Nah I'm 511 6 foot somewhere around there I run a 19-20.5 sometimes a 21 if im usin a freinds bike, but 20.5 is the best. But it is all person preference.

A 19" TT is not what you should be riding genious. Even if you're "comfortable" with a certain size TT other than what you "should" be riding, a 19" TT is way to small. When I cracked my Federal frame I had to use my old Haro frame for a while, and it had a 19.5 TT, so when I did x-ups or barspins my pedal/foot would hit my front tire. So, the smallest I would go(unless you have a growth deficiency, and ur only 4' at age 18...), is a 20" just so that I could ride it properly, and that would be pushing it.

Its all personal pref. but yeh a 19 is to small for me I know that but that doesn't mean i cant ride it.

If your riding a frame with a tt length of 19in, the majoraty of the time you try barspins x-ups,or even turning if you have some big feet, your feet will hit the front tire. The only thing a shorter tt is really good for is spinning and if your short.

Fine you may be right but it all depends on personal preff now i prefer to ride a 20.5 but i do ride a 19 here and there and have no problem.
