I just play in the past time when I am bored at home. I don't have a TV at my house so this is basicly the only entertainment that I have.
I've been around MMORPG's for a long time.
I started with Everquest when it first launched. Played up until the Ykeesha expansion( I got fed up the way Sony managed everything after Verant left).
I continued on with Star Wars Galaxies. This was awesome especially when it first launched. I had a Teras Kasi master that I could spam knockdown on people and take them with 3-4 hits. Then I got three AT-ST's, 1 graul mauler, flying droid, electroshock R2 droid and wasted everything that moved. I loved that part of it until they started nerfing everything.
I tried Horizons(returned it after 1 week). This was hyped up to be the next best thing and all it did was dissapoint me.
I went back to EQ for awhile and quit soon after.
City of Heros was fun for abuot a month or so.
Played EQ 2 and was disgusted by the gameplay. Everything was utterly dissapointing(group aspect).
I will stick with WOW for awhile :"D

It is over 4000 years old. Some have gone insane (literally), others have gone into solitude for years -- not speaking to anyone, not communicating with the outside world -- just to master it.

I switch to Pistoleer/Bounty hunter and then they nerfed eye shot

be careful that game is addictive...I once tried it but have much too short of an attention span to really learn...but i had a friend almost have to drop out of college because of his obsession with the game (kind of an odd obsession for a frat-boy, but interesting all the same)

there is a reason why EQ had over 600,000 subscribers and WoW coming close...
Think about it...If it was free, they would have to service servers and so on for FREE.
THAT IS STUPID

Haha, that video is so hilarious. I don't play any MMORPG's, but I have two roommates who play EQ2 for like 18 hours a day. Seems like you have to devote a lot of time into them to accomplish anything. I prefer a game where you can just play for a few minutes whenever you have some spare time, something like...solitaire. The only games I ever really got into were Starcraft and Warcraft III.

Can't help you, dude! I think Guild Wars is free to play, but not to dl. Don't know, tho, never played it.... I barely play any games now.:(
