anyone notice how beautiful it was out today? riding into work at 5pm, it was still warm enough that I was able to ditch my winter hat, my thermal, and my full length gloves. the wind through my hair for the first time in too long made me not even worry about my ****ty haircut (or rather, my lack OF a haircut). feeling bartape against my hands felt almost sexual. it was awesome.

we made it past dec 21st, the shortest day of the year. from here on out, it just gets easier.

I biked about 30 miles today between going to a couple of stores to get some last minute items and then over to my aunt's house on the other side of Wilmington to work on some computer stuff. I wore my lightweight gloves, a thin long sleeve shirt with only a t-shirt underneath and [gasp] shorts! It was awesome feel the wind again on more than just my nose. I'm not sure what was more beautiful, the weather or passing about 100 cars trying to get into and out of the mall parking lot.
