Fifty Plus (50+) - MERRY CHRISTMAS 50+'rs

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Ho!Ho!Ho!......Can't imagine what new "issues", interests, shared pleasures, personal achievements, cycling problems/concerns/questions-to-be-resolved will arise next year......but I've had one heck of a nice ride here at BF this year and look forward to more.
Merry Christmas to each and everyone!

You spend too much time on the Computer if you can find sites like this. Sentiments reciprocated and thanks for the link. Time to relax now from the final rush of christmas eve shopping, so many thanks to everyone on the forum
P.S--- May get our first snow on Tuesday here in the South of the UK. So the Experiment to see if My "Snow" tyres will work will probably be proved wrong.. Message to my wife-- Did I get the New Gloves for Christmas? If no- then you have a scarf and a half pair of sockes to brood over.

Merry Christmas, peace, health and happiness to each and every 50+ forum member in every corner of this world.

Merry Christmas to all. We're struggling in San Diego with our 80 degrees temperatures today and tomorrow, but somehow we'll soldier on. I want to thank each and every one of you for helping me SO much this year with my new passion, cycling. Because of this board (and a little self determination) I became a cyclist in 2005. Thanks for all the advice, encouragement, stories, and laughs. You all are terrific!
Probably no ride today, but I'm just 127 miles shy of 1,400 for the year (which began June 5th for me in terms of cycling), so I hope to get some quality miles on Christmas after the kids leave to be with their mom, and I have the place to myself. With this weather, should be a fun ride -- and the traffic should be nearly non-existent by comparison.
I love cycling, and I love being part of that community of people who are out there doing something physical -- whether that be cycling, jogging, walking, tai chi, roller blading, swimming, you name it. After so many years of being a spectator, it feels soooooo good to be a participant. And, in the final analysis, it doesn't matter whether I reach this goal or that goal (although they do help motivate me!). What matters is that I'm out there, riding, having fun, and doing something good for my body.
Yea!
So, forgive me running off at the mouth, but once again, Merry Christmas, or Happy Channukah, or just plain Happy Holidays.
Here's a nice link that I seemed to be able to relate to.

Gary......no problem with "visibility" in your Santa outfit. The one of you and your daughter is pure, sweet parent stuff........father & daughter together...what the Season is all about! We should all enjoy our Christmas this much!

I'd stick to being the Mascot as you have fallen down on the santa bit, or did you forget? I did not have the gloves under the tree this morning

I think you've forgotten a couple of naughty incidents over the past year. No need to spill the beans in public, but you know what they are. Try harder next year and we'll see about the gloves. :D
