Bicycle Mechanics - Are these compatible?

I just bought 2005 Bianchi Cross Veloce cyclocross demo bike
-Campy Veloce groupo for the most part
-50/34 FSA crankset
-12-25 cassette
-Came w/ 2005 Campy Vento wheelset w/ CX 700x35 tires.

This will be my outdoor training/winter/gravel road bike.

Separately, just bought 2006 Ventos w/ road tires (Michelin Pro2 race) and matching 12-25 cassette.
Plan to Switch back/forth between wheelsets (Road and CX).

Questions:
1) Should all these wheels be compatible between my 2 outdoor bikes since both are
-Campy (XV=Veloce, Tarmac=Chorus)
-50/34 FSA (XV=Gossamer/Tarmac=SLK)
-XV 2 cassettes are both 12-25
-Tarmac have Easton Ascent II's (1 rear w/ 12-25, 2nd rear w/ 11-23)

2) Do you think I'll be able to use same chain for 11-23 and 12-25?

3) Considering buying 13-29 Campy cassette (Chorus, Centaur or Veloce) for occasional use on either bike.
If do this, know will need separate chain that would use w/ just the 13-29. What Rear derailleur would you rec, assuming cannot use short cage that have on Tarmac. Have to check on X-Veloce to see what RD it has. IFFF it has longer RD, than 13-29 might fit right on there??

4) If get Campy 13-29 cassette, which one do you rec, Chorus, Centaur or Veloce? see below for good prices from Italy.

1. Wheels should pretty much swap out. You might have to make a minor rear derailleur adjustment but I doubt it.

2. Campy recommends a different method than Shimano or SRAM for sizing chains. The beauty of the Campy method is that you can change cassettes without fussing with your chain as long as you don't exceed your derailleur capacity. Shift into your small/small gear combination. If your derailleur has pretty much used up it's wrap capability, you'll be fine.

3. I'm not a Campy guy so I don't know the derailleur capacities off the top of my head.

4. On a Veloce equipped bike I'd get a Veloce cassette. It seems like a goofy part to upgrade beyond the rest of the components.
