General Cycling Discussion - Case of the Missing Holiday...

Guys!!! I was looking at the upcoming holidays on my calendar, and I saw Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Memorial Day. But I didn't see Joe Gardner Day. I am deeply sadened to see that our country cares so little about such an important individual. For cryin out loud, he runs Bikeforums.com!!! This, I decided, is an outrage. So, I have designated May 5 as Joe Gardner Day. Now, all self respecting forum members should post something showing your appreciation for Joe, like a poem,a verse, a picture, a e-card whatever toasts your pop-tart.

man this is so totally cool, I tried to explain this , our little corner of the globe, to a few of my non-cycling buddies and.......guess what ? they did'nt get it ! .. but hey who cares !!WE do...it's starting to seem like WE have something special here,..that only we understand......more power to ya Joe ! your friend - Buddy.

Yay! Yet another good reason to drink and hang out. I will have beer--oh, no, wait, I'll have a special drink in honor of Joe's Day! All I need is vodka, apple liqueur, carmel, and an apple slice! :thumbup:
