I'm thinking about picking up a BMX to help with my mountbike riding and just something to play with, since my nephews have them. I was looking at the DK General Lee, DK Six Pack, DK Eight Pack and the Black Eye De La Cruz. The Six pack MIGHT be out of my price range, or what I'm willing to spend. I'm not planning on totally destroying it but at the same time I'm a large man, 6'4 225lbs. What would y'all suggest? I know I can't really go wrong with DK but the Black Eye De La Cruz is on sale at Danscomp for only 199.99 but I don't know much about them. What do y'all suggest?

I checked out the description on Dans for the Black Eye - not enough info there to be any use.

I would squeeze the wallet hard to see if you can get enough money out for the 6 Pack. I believe it has a 20.5" top tube and has a full cromo frame and cromo important parts (forks, bars, cranks). The General Lee and 8 Pack are both only partly cromo with shorter top tubes. With your size, maybe even consider looking to see what you can find with a 21" top tube.

you definatley need a long top tube like a 21" and some tall bars.......like 8 inch rise
