It's interesting to see that a 10-lane bike road takes up about the same space as a regular 4-lane road.

Heh. Around here that would just be ten lanes full of manhole covers and potholes, and a place for the city to not maintain, for cops and DPT vehicles to park in, and to accumulate broken glass and garbage. The marked car lane would be pristene new pavement.
