Are there any problems/issues with using CF (Seat posts, stems etc.) on a steel frame?

I assume the stem is for a threadless fork/headset so it shouldn't matter what the frame is made of.

Carbon fiber seatposts seems to have problems in almost any frame so steel isn't a particular issue. There are a lot of reports of slipping no matter what the seatpost is installed in.

Thanks, Just had to check. BTW, I've had no slippage problems with my carbon fiber seat post into an aluminum frame.

Actually, I have seen a few carbon posts seized in steel frames. I'd almost grease it and see if it slips.

Grease is what causes carbon posts to seize. Never use grease on a carbon post.
